The Half Moon Bay Airport was constructed in 1942 by the California State Highway Department for the U.S. Army. The airport is not only one of the top employers in the San Mateo County but also is one of the companies that educates and trains their employees to be great pilots and mechanics. Approximately 80 aircraft and aviation related businesses call this airport their home.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is home of approximately 3 terminals and 45 airlines including American Airline, ATA Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, and, United Airlines. The airport has welcomed five new airlines-two domestic and three international airlines in the past 18 months. This has open the doors to dozens of new destinations. Also, there is a new food and beverage program well along its way, which will feature 80 percent of locally-owned businesses.
